Horror Rama's TORONTOSPLOITATION show is excited to be bringing the "Queen of Cinepix" herself, legendary Canadian actor and broadcaster Danielle Ouimet to Toronto for our show! Danielle first found fame with Montreal's infamous exploitation film production and distribution house CInepix with their landmark erotic drama VALERIE in 1969, and went on to star in the studio's horror film THE POSSESSION OF VIRGINIA. But she is perhaps most worshiped for playing Valerie in Harry Kumel's erotic 1971 vampire masterpiece DAUGHTERS OF DARKNESS, a Belgian horror classic that was partially financed by Cinepix. Later, Danielle would not only keep being a major presence in world cinema, but became a revered broadcaster in French Canada. Come and meet this charming, talented artist for ONE DAY ONLY only at TORONTOSPLOITATION 2026!

Horror Rama's TORONTOSPLOITATION show is thrilled to welcome Oscar winning filmmaker Roger Christian to our strange cinema party! The British born, now Toronto-based, artist started his career in England, first working as an art director in movies like Robert Fuest's terrifying AND SOON THE DARKNESS, before winning an Oscar for his set direction in 1977's immortal STAR WARS (among other duties, he helped create the lightsaber!) and was Oscar nominated for art directing Ridley Scott's iconic 1979 horror landmark ALIEN! As a director, Roger helmed the George Lucas-approved BLACK ANGEL, the cult horror masterpiece THE SENDER (one of Quentin Tarantino and Guillermo Del Toro's favorites) and, among many other credits, the controversial Sci-Fi blockbuster BATTLEFIELD EARTH.
